Today marks the day that TEAM 0x539 releases the very first version of the redefining, multiplayer capable, scripting hook for Grand Theft Auto 4. The total development time is currently set to around 3 months, so that's quite a long time. This new hook allows the hoster to define whether mods are allowed in his/her game, instead of just allowing all gamemodes, like the old g4mhook did. With this in mind, I hope that people won't call this hook a 'cheater hook' as the main reason this was created was because various people enjoy playing multiplayer with mods. This hook is in no way related to g4mhook, so that means that mods that require the g4mhook.dll won't work with this new hook, unless it has been ported over by the original author. The readme should answer most of your questions and the ini files allow you to set several settings.

So what's different? In a nutshell; host defines whether mods are allowed, a fullblown ingame log for developers, a fully working ingame FPS counter from within the hook, a nice intro with music and last but not least V1.0.0.4 support. Please note that previous GTA patches are not supported, this is a fresh start.
