Today marks the day that TEAM 0x539 releases the very first version of the redefining, multiplayer capable, scripting hook for Grand Theft Auto 4. The total development time is currently set to around 3 months, so that's quite a long time. This new hook allows the hoster to define whether mods are allowed in his/her game, instead of just allowing all gamemodes, like the old g4mhook did. With this in mind, I hope that people won't call this hook a 'cheater hook' as the main reason this was created was because various people enjoy playing multiplayer with mods. This hook is in no way related to g4mhook, so that means that mods that require the g4mhook.dll won't work with this new hook, unless it has been ported over by the original author. The readme should answer most of your questions and the ini files allow you to set several settings.

Rockstar Games revealed on Twitter in the early hours of this morning that a trailer for The Ballad of Gay Tony is coming "very soon".

How soon is "very soon" you might ask, well big site updates and trailers are usually launched by Rockstar at the end of the week, so maybe even tonight. Next week is perhaps more likely, but we'll keep you posted on any specifics we learn of.

As you may have noticed we had a minor set back with our mod database getting corrupted, but now i have built it again with a more stable version and better style. so something good came out of losing the database.

Me and the other admins will be adding mods to our database constantly, please help us by uploading your mods, or even other peoples mods, just make sure to put their name as the author.
